About half of my patients are children, from toddlers to adolescents. Common problems include anxiety, phobias, separation anxiety, OCD, ADHD, oppositional behavior, acting out, school problems, and adjustment disorders. With a specialty in family therapy, I generally include parents in the therapy, as parent-child relationships are critical to establishing and maintaining new behaviors. I specialize in treating children of separating and divorcing parents and I provide parent coaching, co-parent counseling and stepfamily therapy. I created the "Kids First" parent divorce education program presented to over 25,000 parents in eight counties in Northeast Pennsylvania.

I treat adults experiencing anxiety, depression, anger management, OCD, and relationship problems. Family therapy is used help couples, adult siblings, and extended families solve problems and renew their relationships. I support individuals and couples going through breakups and divorces and I teach mindfulness skills training to achieve personal well-being.

I am a former Academic Dean & Professor of Psychology at Lackawanna College and adjunct Graduate School Lecturer in the Department of Counseling & Psychology at Marywood University. Doctorate:Temple University. Post-doctoral certificate in Family Therapy Training from the Philadelphia Child Guidance Center, University of Pennsylvania.
